About The Brand
HERA RITUAL is a premium pregnancy body care brand created to reframe pregnancy and body change as something to be honored rather than corrected. The brand moves away from the infantilized, overly clinical, or fear-based approach often seen in pregnancy skincare, offering a calmer and more intentional alternative.
Designed around the idea of daily ritual, HERA RITUAL combines skin-supporting body oils with a tactile, sensory experience that encourages women to slow down and connect with their changing bodies.
Project Objectives
The focus was on creating a look that feels feminine without becoming girlish, premium without feeling excessive, and grounded without leaning into clinical skincare aesthetics. Soft tonal colors, considered typography, generous negative space, and tactile materials were used to create a sense of quiet luxury.
The packaging needed to establish a clear visual system for the three stages of the pregnancy ritual while keeping the products cohesive as a collection. The direction was designed to feel timeless and intentional, allowing the product to sit naturally within a premium skincare or beauty environment.
The visual direction also aimed to communicate the sensory and emotional side of the brand. Water, reflective surfaces, skin, stone, and soft lighting were used to create imagery that feels calm, intimate, and connected to the physical experience of pregnancy.
The Outcome
The result is a cohesive visual identity and packaging system that positions HERA RITUAL as a considered alternative to traditional pregnancy skincare.
The combination of sculptural glass bottles, restrained typography, tonal packaging, and atmospheric product imagery creates a visual language that feels editorial, tactile, and quietly luxurious — without relying on conventional pregnancy aesthetics.
Across the packaging and campaign imagery, the product becomes part of a larger ritual rather than simply another skincare item. The final direction gives HERA RITUAL a strong and recognizable foundation for future digital, e-commerce, and campaign applications while staying true to the brand’s core idea: honoring the body through transformation, rather than trying to correct it.
